Hello! I’m Sarah, a color-obsessed painter with healthy self esteem and terrible sense of direction. I have wanted to be an artist for as long as I can remember and I have been striving and thriving in pursuit of my passion for the past decade.

I spent the summer after Junior year in High School studying figure drawing in Italy and my teacher encouraged me to pursue art in college. I majored in painting at Boston University and had the opportunity to return to Italy to study abroad. In my Venice art studio I shined colored lights on my model and created my first “Electric Realism” painting, a style that has informed my work ever since. In Boston and Italy my peers and teachers always said that my paintings screamed “California!”, so upon graduation I returned home to San Diego to pursue art in the place that inspired my early work.
