She Is We Tee

This is our very first collaboration with a "Dazey Dude", Kohl, but he is a man who wholeheartedly believes in empowering women and shining light on what they are doing. In fact it's the whole mission behind his brand, sharing the stories and faces of the women who make your clothing. They operate their own facilities in Peru, Africa, and India. These are places where garment workers are often paid pennies and forced to work in terrible conditions. Known Supply provides them with great wages, good working conditions, and actually empowers them as the artisans and makers they are. This is a hand drawn design collaboration with Dazey LA made to represent unity and equality with women all over the world!

  • 100% Premium Pima Cotton
  • Pre-washed to prevent shrinking
  • Made at the Known Supply factory in Lima, Peru
  • Signed by the maker
  • Unisex sizing so sizing down is recommended

Meet the Designers: Kohl & Dani

In 2007, while still in college, Travis Hartanov and Kohl Crecelius co-founded Krochet Kids intl. -- a social enterprise and lifestyle brand working to empower marginalized populations in impoverished communities around the world.  They begun their work after fellow co-founder Stewart Ramsey took a trip to the war-torn region of Northern Uganda the year prior.  Amidst so much deprivation, a solution was voiced by many in the area, “We want to work.”
The goal was to restore the dignity and self-efficacy people were stripped of within the context of poverty and break them away from the cycles of dependency generated by well meaning international NGOs. At first, jobs came in the form of producing crocheted headwear -- a skill the “Krochet Kids” had learned years prior while peddling beanies to friends in the Pacific Northwest. In 2010, the group expanded operations and product categories by starting a second location outside of Lima, Peru.
KNOWN SUPPLY is much more than an apparel brand.  It is a movement and a platform for social good.  Our apparel is available to those who value people and want to see their stories brought back to the forefront of the conversation.  We are disheartened by what fast fashion is doing to our planet and the people who make our clothes.  We don’t like what we see, so we decided to do something about.
